Hello, everyone. I am Penny, a retired lady that wants to travel. My plans are to become a digital nomad and to use the skills I’ve honed over the last 30 years in administrative support roles to fund myself and my travels.

As mentioned, I’ve worked in administrative support roles for over 30 years, and have experience in the following industries: Legal, Construction, Real Estate, Health, Investments, Banking, Retail, Hospitality and Manufacturing. I’ve done everything from shipping clerk, legal secretary, office management, payroll, newsletters, property management, event planning to even pouring concrete. I’ve always been a hard worker, and have never been afraid to get my hands dirty. Being the oldest of 7 children growing up, I’ve learned to take the lead and run with it. My greatest asset is my natural propensity for organization. This makes multi-tasking easy for me.

Now is my time and I want to travel. So, I started this website and am making my way to becoming a traveling virtual assistant. Offering my services and expertise from around the world.

My son has been on several adventures, which he journalized through social media. And I helped! This gave me a chance to see what it would be like to be my own boss and work with a traveler. I loved it. Scheduling blog posts, creating content, curating content, internet research, mapping his travels, and so much more. This has opened a door for me to finally get out there and explore the world.

To that end, I also have my own blog. If I want to work with travel bloggers, I guess I should join them as a blogger as well to understand what they’re up against.
