I’ve made three visits to Amsterdam.
The first was during my 2012 European trip with Jesse. After leaving Switzerland and our train ride through the Alps, we were to fly to Paris and spend a couple of days before taking the fast train to Amsterdam. However, funds were running low, so we changed our flight and flew directly to Amsterdam after spending the night at the Geneva airport.
The second visit to Amsterdam was during my 2018 solo European trip. This was just a night in a hotel to be close to the airport for my flight home via Helsinki.
The third visit to Amsterdam was during my 2020 solo European trip, it was my escape route out of Italy when the lock-down began. I spent almost a week exploring with several of my conference colleagues that were also getting out of Italy due to the lock-down.
