Štramberk is a small town that lies at the foot of the Beskydy Mountains in the Moravian-Silesian Region and is known for it’s Štramberk Ears, a Moravian confectionary. Since 2007, Štramberk was awarded the Protected Designation of Origin of Status from the EU for it’s ears. It’s an interesting story, to the right is a photo of the pan they cook the ears in, and below is a link about the ears.
